maz maz shawarma is self explainatory means awesome awesome shawarma. This hidden place is located on dixie road right before britannia land mark is mattress shop. Their is a construction going on to the neighbours property so you cannot miss it. They have plenty of space for parking. Lets talk about food, Customer Service And theme or ambieance.
Amazing price 7.99$ small and 11.99$ regular or big size portion whether its falafel(freshly fryed or cooked live), chicken (juicy), beef, chicken souvlaki(not tried yet). Also, they have everyday soup options available.
I went their for lunch time which is normally the busy time and i have ordered chicken rice platter.
cost11.99$+drink is seperate. Their customer service is amzing i felt welcomed everytime i go and have seen friendly cutomers at the same time.
Restaurant inside is quite place yes there is TV, customers, but it still feel quite. Moreover, i will certainly going back along my family and friends. certainly recommend everyone to go for shawarma place.
if you are going north on dixie before approaching britannia road destination is located on the right hand side of east side. its a hit and miss place driveway. enjoy -

So, I was in Toronto the other day, was looking for good food within walking distance of my hotel, and I found this place. Despite the negative reviews on here there were much better ones in google, so I decided I'd give it a go.
I ordered the Schawarma plate (should've gotten the wrap). It was quite tasty, the meat was really good, nice portion, but it was a bit pricy at $16. The portion was large enough to make it two meals, but I'll stick with the wraps next time. The veggies were really fresh, and they give a hefty amount of rice as well as a potatoe wedge. The Italian dressing with their hot sauce hit the spot. She was a bit hesitant to give this white boy hot sauce, and a bit stingy as well with it... I'm from Texas, I can handle it!
Any way, I'm not sure what all the hate is about, but I disentangle have a negative experience and it seemed pretty busy when I was there, so it is quite popular. Give it a try! -

Mannnnnn... After deciding to forego overpriced hotel-food options I was glad to find Maz Maz because I love me some schwarma! (And it's fun to say) so I used Uber Eats- got to choose up to 10 items for the wrap and added fries & pop for a small upcharge. The wrap was good, lots of veggies and sauces but it could've used a tad more chicken. Unfortunately I had to remove THREE stars because my rice pudding was SPOILED :( omg it was made with jasmine rice, had no sweetness, pure liquid and after one taste and a deep whiff I was positive it was sour... so I currently await my $3.95 refund... I hate to leave such a bad review based on one experience but the most important thing a restaurant much ensure is quality control! Hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.

It was overall meh. I feel like there was too much happening on the chicken shawarma plate. This chicken was okay at best, and the sauces seemed way too sour for my tastes. It was okay for a quick fix but I wouldn't say satisfying. Not too mention over $12...

My son and I were looking for a restaurant in walking distance from the truck stop. We ordered the beef shawarma plate. The portions were very generous. Although the potato wedges were a little under cooked, they were tasty, and the entire meal was delicious. The price was very good considering the amount of food in the meal. I know where to go next time I'm in the area.
